Up to 144 Terabytes (TB) of storage

Storage servers are equipped with specialized drive bays to maximize storage density. With up to 12 disks or SSDs per server, plus additional 12-bay HP storage units, it is possible to build storage arrays with up to 144TB of storage.

The modular nature of storage technologies used by RedArray allows for easy planning and upgrading. Storage servers can be upgraded, relocated, and attached to one another with ease.

High-speed 1Gbps link + 20TB bandwidth per server.

Upgrading from RedArray's base server models is not necessary to utilize a fully capable system. Smart upgrades provisioned free unmetered 250Mbps or unmetered 1Gbps bandwidth.

Link speed and data transfer are private and reserved, not shared between servers.

Choice of SATA3, SAS, and SSD storage devices.

SATA disks, Serial-attached SATA (SAS) disks, and solid state drives (SSDs) are available to construct storage servers. Choose the storage type that provides the ideal blend of storage space and cost-efficiency for your platform.

Powered by HP Smart Array® Hardware RAID.

HP's Smart Array® hardware RAID controllers are equipped with battery backup units and up to 2GB of flash-backed cache. Through the Smart Array® configuration utility it is possible to create a large variety of unique RAID configurations, including RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6, RAID10, RAID50, and RAID60 volumes, in any quantity needed.
