How to Install UnixBench on CentOS Server

Unixbench is an extremely useful tool for benchmarking Linux systems and producing coherent benchmark results for purposes of recording and comparison.

To install UnixBench on a Linux server running CentOS, access the server as root and run the following commands:

yum groupinstall "Development Tools" yum install libX11-devel mesa-libGL-devel perl-Time-HiRes


wget http://byte-unixbench.googlecode.com/files/UnixBench5.1.3.tgz
tar xvfz UnixBench5.1.3.tgz
cd UnixBench
./Run
